Background
Dr. Cunningham grew up on a farm in Niles, Michigan and realized she wanted to be a veterinarian when she was only 13 years old. After living in the South for a few years, she returned home and planted our animal hospital with her longtime friend Caisha Moyer.

Background
Caisha knew she wanted to be in veterinary medicine as far back as she can remember. She grew up in the Elkhart area where her parents always had cats, dogs, lizards, rabbits and guinea pigs. She is known for her incredibly kind and gentle heart. Her empathy and compassion for people and animals alike has made this the ultimate career choice and dream job for her.

Background
Dr. Payne is joining our team after spending the last 20 years in emergency medicine. He spent over half of that time working as a Residency trained Criticalist and medical director for various hospitals across the country. Having graduated and completed an emergency and critical care internship from Michigan State University, the Midwest has become his second home. After pursuing his aspirations of becoming a Criticalist, Dr. Payne and his wife recently returned to Michigan with their two children to be closer to family. While the decision to leave his first love of Critical Care medicine was not easy, he is excited for this next chapter in his career!

Katie is married to her best friend Melvin. They have two crazy, stubborn, funny, beautiful girls, Josephine & Sophia! They also have four fur babies, Bruno, Taz, Mittens, and Raven. Background
Natosha has always been an animal lover. She has always been the one her family called for animal advice. In high school, Natosha did a semester-long internship at the Elkhart County Humane Society. Participating in that experience is what really solidified her aspiration to become a veterinary professional.
